Why No Two Members at Our Colorado Springs Studio Do the Same Workout

Walk into a session at Alloy Personal Training Colorado Springs and you will see up to six people training at once, and no two of them doing the same exercise. That is not chaos; it is the whole product. Each member follows a program written for their body, their history, and their goals, and the coach on the floor manages all of them simultaneously.

Here is why we build it that way, and what it means for your results.

Where does my program come from?

From your Starting Point Session. The goals conversation tells your coach what you are training for. The functional movement assessment shows how your body actually moves, including the old knee, the cranky shoulder, and the desk-job hips. The InBody scan quantifies your starting point. Your program is built from those three inputs, which is why it cannot be photocopied from anyone else's.

What does personalized mean in practice?

It means the 62-year-old retired teacher rebuilding after a hip replacement and the 45-year-old contractor who lifts weekend lumber are both in the 10am session, doing entirely different work at entirely different loads. Same coach, same room, same 55 minutes: different programs. It also means your program changes when your life does; a flare-up, a vacation, or a new goal gets built into the next block instead of derailing everything.

How do programs progress?

On a structured 12-week cycle. Loads, exercises, and volume advance deliberately, based on what your coach sees on the floor and what your monthly InBody scans confirm. Progress in strength training comes from progression, not variety for its own sake; random daily workouts feel busy and build little. The cycle is the difference between exercising and training.

Why not just follow an app?

An app cannot watch you move. The value of a written program doubles when a coach is present to enforce positions, adjust the day's load to the body that showed up, and decide when you are actually ready for more. That is the point of capping sessions at six: the program and the coaching stay attached to each other.

Frequently asked questions

Will my program include exercises I hate? Your coach cares about patterns, not specific exercises. If a movement does not suit your body, there is always a substitution that trains the same quality.

What happens if I miss two weeks? Your program picks you up where you are, not where the calendar says you should be. That is the advantage of programs over classes.

Do beginners really need programming? Beginners benefit most. Early progress comes fast, and a program aims it in the right order, safely.
